Highland Parkway Apartments
For this Housing and Urban Development (HUD) project, ZED provided architectural services for Phase 4 kitchen and bathroom renovations to 18 occupied units of mixed affordable public housing in 4 separate buildings, then continued with Phase 5 for another 10 units.
ZED, along with our MEP/FP consultant, worked directly with the local housing authority in identifying a work scope and furnished drawings and specifications for the bidding and construction. In addition, ZED prepared detailed cost analyses during the construction process for changes in scope of work. Contract requirements included existing condition documentation, design submittals, investigative site visits, and both design and construction meetings with the Lowell Housing Authority. The project conformed to Ch 149 Commonwealth of Massachusetts public bidding laws, and was completed as a phased, occupied rehab project.
