ZED performed an energy modeling analysis to determine requirements to achieve Passive House certification (PHIUS) for multiple multifamily buildings undergoing envelope upgrades and flood resiliency improvements. For one building (the Beta Building), ZED performed an energy modeling analysis to determine the upgrades needed to achieve Passive House certification through PHIUS. Arlington Housing Authority will determine whether to pursue the full certification, in which case ZED will act as the Certified Passive House Consultant through the completion of the project.
